412-2015-6316 — Dropping Dead

[ TO BE EXPANDED WITH FURTHER WRITING ]

This was my siblings taking advantage of the relations that they themselves were collapsing between my own mother and I. They were doing so for their individual mutual personal aims of unjust enrichment. For their own material, monetary and emotional gains that is. The police were literally willingly blind to such even through my attempts to communicate the story to them when I had the appropriate opportunities. I was literally being murdered right in front of the police.

This was FRAUD that nearly KILLED ME. My siblings took advantage of the situation and had my elderly mother commit fraud. They had her pre-sign and pre-date an eviction notice for a tenancy that didn't even exist. They had her do this before she left the country. She was elsewhere in the United States at the date of signature. Then they posted it to a door I paid for and installed when I was not even home.

October 31st, 2015 for my person was as if someone took a psychological baseball bat to the back of my head, hitting me with a full, well-connecting, blow. I don't know if any of you have siblings, but this fraudulent sibling abuse was meant to inflict maximum possible damage to my person timed just right in order to hit my person with full effect on my 40th birthday. Happy Birthday baby brother may as have been said. My oldest brother couldn't help himself gloat over his perceived victory on Facebook.

Victim Services had encouraged me to email them as much as I had needed. I was told this by a Staff Member of the Port Moody Police Victim Services Unit who had looked as though she had just wanted emphatically reach out and hug me compassionately over everything I had told her not even two weeks earlier. My only real mistake, was trusting anyone other than an audio recorder. Not that anyone and everyone is at fault here, but recorded audio would have the best thing for untangling all of this mess.

SYNOPSIS - 1

On November 6, 2015 at approximately 1130 hours Cst WANTKE was made aware that Daniel BERLADYN was sending concerning emails to the PMPD Victim Services Unit. More specifically, BERLADYN had initially requested assistance with contacting the Residential Tenancy Branch, however this evolved to emailing odd and irrelevent personal statements. These statements were not suicidal, but alluded to BERLADYN's mental health deteriorating. BERLADYN's mental health was also documented in recent PMPD file #2015-5915.

At 1200 hours, Cst WANTKE attended BERLADYN's residence of 560 Foress Dr, Port Moody, and conducted door knocks, however had negative results. Cst WANTKE subsequently requested nightshift attend the residence to speak with BERLADYN regarding the emails and to access his mental health.

There is definitely failure of some sort with the Port Moody Police. I mean not that this reaction was wrong, but they were already provided with the basic information that they needed, which is why I strongly prefer text. I was at work, where should have been, where I needed to have been. I find the statements, 'odd and irrelevant' a little insulting but we have to remember that this is police lingo.

FOLLOW UP INFORMATION - 1

On November 6th, 2015 at approximately 1943 hours, Constable Vincent TRAIETTI (Cst. TRAIETTI) attended the residence of Daniel BERLADYN (BERLADYN) at 560 Foress Drive to assess his well being in relation to comments he had recently made to Port Moody Police Victim Services members.

BERLADYN informed Cst. TRAIETTI that he had received an eviction notice on the evening of October 31st, 2015 with a removal date of November 10th, 2015. BERLADYN believes the eviction notice is the result of his long standing disputes with his siblings and mother.

BERLADYN informed Cst. TRAIETTI that he is not planning to harm himself and that he is taking things one day at a time. BERLADYN did say to Cst TRAIETTI that he does not know what is going to happen on November 10th, 2015 and that the best thing for his mental state is not to be removed from the family household.

BERLADYN has admitted to Cst TRAIETTI on a previous occasion that he has had mental health issues.

BERLADYN appreciated the follow up with Cst TRAIETTI and he stated he will contact PMPD if he feels his mental state is about to deteriorate.,

Cst. TRAIETTI came to the conclusion that BERLADYN was not a danger to himself or others at this time.

What were my remarks, that I said something stupid in my first email? For the record I was under so much stress that even I didn't like that email thanking her for her time when I had visited. The wording didn't seem right to me at the time,. I couldn't think straight and figured it was good enough. You guys are bit too much if that is what these comments are about.

For myself, I shouldn't have written that I just needed to find myself the right woman and my life would all work out. As that kind of thing would definitely help, but it will not fix the situation. She was extremely empathetic as I explained the story in full to her. She naturally had reason to care for my person. I actually felt that she had a desire to reach out and hug me in sympathy.

I am not sure what the 'remarks' are about in the files, but unless you are a bunch of overprotective boobs that are just right out control with your self-professed claims of protecting women it doesn't make sense.

FOLLOW UP INFORMATION - 2

On November 10th, 2015 Constable Vincent TRAIETTI (Cst TRAIETTI) and Constable Luke VAN WINKLE (Cst VAN WINKLE) attended the residence of Daniel BERLADYN (BERLADYN) in order to check his residence, but in the front window in plain view multiple lumps of cat feces was observed by police.

Cat Clumps, that's just embarrassing, but in my shape at the time that was the last thing I could stay on top of. Even now, I don't have the health and stability to be actively on top of cleaning regiments, organization, happiness and such. I actually haven't felt confident and in control of my home since 2008 or so. Given the fact I was literally near dropping dead, and mom had covered that out of reach window in 2013, I didn't see it.

Actually, I think I do remember seeing it. I just did not have the mind at the time to do anything about it as there was far more pressing issues elsewhere to deal with. The mental state that I was in as a human being, my mind was just - I cannot even describe it. The police, every time they showed up unannounced they added more and more to my plate spinning my burning out gears trying to stay on top of all of the variables as to what was happening.

POLICE STATEMENT - 1

On November 16th, 2015 at approximately 1300 hours Cst FISHER and Cst VAN WINKEL attended 560 Foress Drive Port Moody BC in attempt to check the wellbeing and the mental health status of subject of complaint (SOC) Daniel BERLADYN. Soc Daniel BERLADYN was not home [ ---- BLANKED OUT THREE LINES ---- ].

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Daniel BERLADYN has sent the Port Moody Police Victim Services Unit (PMPD VSU) 11 emails in total since November 04th, 2015. No one from the PMPD VSU unit has ever responded back to any of these persistent emails. The content in the emails have been nonsensical, rambling in nature, and show possible signs of deteriorating mental health status.

ACTION:
Cst Fisher and Cst van Winkel attended the BERLADYN residence in an attempt to locate and speak with soc Daniel BERLADYN but he was not home. The attending officers were able to speak with [ --- LONG BLANK --- ] relayed the following;

Did I get snowballed right here? Who did you talk to, a neighbour or a family member? Which neighbour? What load of incorrect variables where dumped into my equation? I can think of the effects of different people contributing what they thought they knew for their varying reasons and purposes. This was actually one of the things that I was extremely paranoid about.

I knew all my own facts, but even I myself had to be careful about anything that I stated. If I gave an inch of information, the police were prone to take off a mile in the wrong direction. I was very aware of that problem. My situation had so many interconnecting, intertwined variables that I didn't need people acting out their own ignorance. I also had to be very careful in regards to my own sanity, my own energy levels. My own words affect me.

I never met either of these two officers, but they must have known that I would be at work. If I check my logs, I will find that I believed that I was being followed at the time. Even people who I was working with thought the same. The word "gun" was mentioned, and that meant that I had to be looked at, traced, tracked and monitored. There is no other explanation for the other police services and their actions.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES - 1

In response to the requested follow up regarding the status of file 2015-6316. Constable TRIAETTI (Cst. TRAIETTI) is not the primary investigator in the file. Constable Brett WANTKE is the lead on the file. Constable Luke VAN WINKLE is also involved in the file as there may be a mental health component that might be addressed.

Cst TRAIETTI is of the opinion that the file remain open for another 15 days, but will request that Cst WANTKE is Cst VAN WINKLE make the determination regarding the status of the file.

This is completely messed up and rather unfortunate. I liked TRAIETTI. I had respect for him. I liked the fact that he had the balls to come here alone. I could talk to him. The only real problem with him was the timing, he wasn't crossing my path when things were calm and I could psychologically engage with more stable footing.

I find it really strange that a police officer that I do not recall ever meeting, at least not in any of these recent affairs was the lead on this file. If I am the Complainant, why is someone else that I have never met, the lead of this file? I have a feeling that there is smoke here. Where there is smoke there is fire.

An employer had a friend working for the Port Moody Police. I am sure family possibly did too. Why was a person that I never met, the lead on this file if I am the complainant? I can brush it off as just.. internal politics, or happenstance through the course of events. I was bullied by the RCMP by a Member who never even met before doing so.

MICHELLANEOUS NOTES - 2

On November 17, 2015 at approximately 1930 hours, Sgt MORRISON and Cst LONG attended the BERLADYN residence and spoke with Daniel. Daniel was very careful not to allow members to see inside his suite and spoke with the officers in the garage even with the low temperature and wearing only a t-shirt and shorts. Both officers noted that insulation could be seen on the walls inside, but appeared otherwise to be quite tidy.

Daniel was asked about the emails he had sent to V/S and that he officers were there to check to make sure all was ok with him. The officers had an approximately 30 minute conversation with Daniel. He presented as somewhat manic, with his thoughts and conversation appearing rapid and diverse.

I was able to be determined that, during this conversation at least, Daniel was somewhat fixated on his family history and believes himself to have been deprived of love adn understanding by the rest of his family. He appears to believe that he needs to live with his mother because moving out would mean that they (his family) "would win", and that he needed to "beat them". Further questioning confirmed that he was referring to showing them that they had been wrong to treat him the way they have, so "beat them" was used metaphorically rather than as a threat of physical harm.

Daniel, when asked, was quite clear that he had no desire to hurt himself or anyone else.

He described himself as being possibly manic-depressive but was quick to say that he has not been diagnosed with anything. Sgt MORRISON asked if he had considered seeing a doctor or a psychologist to help him determine if that might be the case. Daniel stated that he "couldn't possibly make an appointment" because he "just puts one foot in front of another".

Sgt MORRISON spoke to Daniel about the Department's concerns over the increasingly frequent, nonsensical and voluminous content in his emails to V/S. He immediately stated that he had been told "email me anytime" and believes that he is doing just that. When asked about the increasingly nonsensical nature of his emails he stated that he just has to "get it all out or it will hurt me". Daniel stated that by "hurting him" he was referring to the fact that if he keeps these revelations inside he believes that he will just become more manic.

Daniel did say that he was concerned over how the Department perceives him. Throughout his conversation, the manic nature of his speech notwithstanding, Daniel presented as calm, articulate and well kept. It is Sgt MORRISON's observation that Daniel appears to be strugging with an increasingly overwhelming mental health issue for which it does not appear he will seek help.

Daniel was asked to keep his contact with V/S containted to requests for assistance and resource facilitation rather than an outlet for expressing his thought processes.

There was no evidence of behaviour or expressed thought that would support a Sec 28 MHA apprehension of Daniel at this time.

Upon leaving the residence, Cst LONG called [ - BLANK - ] to advice [ - BLANK - ] of the result of the visit. [ ---- LONG BLANK ---- ]

The Port Moody Police Department Community Services Section will be managing this file using the electronic data set. This management of data will ensure the following:

all PRIME criteria are met (RTCC Synopsis & Narrative, will says, etc)

I was a complete mess by the time I was able to request copies of these files to review myself. The fact that things were not in absolute chronological order as I have laid them out here had really messed me up in 2016. I was already a complete wreck trying to prepare for court while my life was collapsing, and I continually tripped at the smallest of wrongs.

An electronic data set. I am not sure that that was what I first believed it to be, but I would still like someone to explain exactly what that is.

Investigative Log

On December 14th, 2015 at 1130 hours Cst FISHER, Cst VAN WINKLE, and Victim Services had a meeting with [ - BLANK NAME - ] from who is a community mental health nurse with Tri-Cities Mental Health. [BLANK] was provided an update on Daniel BERLADYN's current situation and his mental health status. [BLANK] updated that a community outreach home check would be conducted with in the next two weeks offering their services to BERLADYN. An update will be provided to Cst FISHER once this meeting has occurred. Copies of the email's sent from BERLADYN to the Victim Services Unit were forwarded to [BLANK] for their records.

That's great. Why don't you ask Pam where that very first file went to? It's missing. I can tell you what it says. I liked Pam, but I was completely shocked at what she wrote. If that is true, half the cops, half the population of the whole country, has brain damage. Seeing that people used to formerly compliment my intelligence, I don't think that is the case with me.
