I met some very nice people tonight who identified as Russian.

They were from the same city as my former penpal. This made me wish that I chose different means in dealing with our differences. She would have liked that I met people here from her city. On the other hand, she would have took issue that they identified as Russian and not Ukrainian. This although they have the belief that they are all the same people. Which is a belief that is shared by someone else that I know.

I don't know why I am thinking about this. I just am suddenly. Perhaps I liked the daughter. I wish I was young again. I think the real reason that I am posting this is because I am happy that I can return to having no personal issues in having a positive outlook towards Russia. I couldn't before because my penpal would get upset with me if I did not accept her views. Anyways, it's not January 7th, but it is December 24th.
