Post Title: Prince Philip

I was thinking of Prince Philip on the way home after stopping at Safeway to buy food for dinner.

I walked in without a mask wondering what would be said to me for doing so. I once had a security guard try to take issue with me over it. I just brushed him off. I grew up here. I was raised on the food from this store and some newly landed immigrant was trying to dictate that my natural right to breathe must be restricted. Anyways, this time no one said a word. As is often the case I was the only one that I had seen without a mask. Err.. Muzzle.

I am not going to capture the intent of this post properly, but I had a good laugh to myself one the way home afterwards. I have a lot of thoughts throughout any day covering a wide range of topics. Naturally my mind was on COVID19 and the eagerness of everyone to obey mandates and muzzle themselves. I thought to myself that Prince Philip is probably the only viable reason I could find myself endorsing such.

I mean, if this was all for him, then good on him. I actually support it. I do not want to lead people in the wrong direction, but if this is all to honour him and his wishes after he passes, then so be it. Good on The Royal Family for not only following through and finding the means to honour his wishes, but Good On Them for doing it in a manner that can serve humanity as an excellent teacher, not mention in other ways that I do not know how to write.

I wish I could express those thoughts I had had properly earlier. I do not take a negative view at all of Prince Philip's statement. I feel the same way. I get it in my own manner. I want to kill everyone too. People make me absolutely sick with the way they conduct themselves. With their lack of integrity. Their dishonesty. Their TAKING rather than GIVING. In my own ways I can understand things. I only wish I could express them better.

I find solace in some things. I remembered tonight that I had hit Facebook's wall of 8000 words maximum per comment when I was offering my thoughts towards Prince Philip having an innocent fender bender. People were saying this. People were saying that. I just thought what a poor position to be in. Getting publicly trashed over something any of us could easily do. Especially into our more vulnerable years.

The lack of respect he was given was atrocious. I wouldn't do that to my aunt, my uncle, or any elder that deserves to be treated with dignity and a well earned respect. People called for blood. They wanted to "take" his license. I remembered my aunt. The doctors did that to her. She went downhill immediately. Then she passed away. That wasn't right in my eyes.

Anyways, I am trying to say that I found some solace in the fact that I spewed out 8000 words in a Facebook comment regarding the incident and people insisting that Prince Philip be sued and forced to lose his license over what was really an accident. It wasn't intentional I am sure. He even did the honorable thing and tried to help the other party who obviously turned out to have far more selfish intent.

The poor guy. I felt for him. It wasn't right. My stance became rather than insult him, rather than strip of his pride and dignity for doing nothing wrong, and perhaps everything honorable and right, why not present him with the opportunity to "voluntarily" give up his driving license temporarily? To my pleasured surprise, that was exactly what ended up happening. "Voluntarily".

I either had a part in that, or I was among the more balanced minds of the World. At the time it almost felt like I had had a hand in that, but if I thought that now I would just have a swollen head. Anyways, I was thinking of Prince Philip on the way home. For a time I had had it in my mind that I should write him before he passes. I never really had the chance, but quite honestly I am pleased that I found the recognition for him before his time was up.

100 years is a good run. I say one hundred years. He made it. You have to account for time in the Womb. He is a Centurion in my eyes.
