Post Title: My Great Uncle, and My Great Aunt

It's hard for me to look at photos at times. The other photographs I have posted here left me drained and full of tears, but when I thought of my Great Uncle Morrie, and my Great Aunt Edna,... I thought I might implode last night. I don't want to leave the rest of my thoughts with this, but... after everything those two did for you people...

RCMP Escort

Uncle Morrie had an Eldorado like this one. Mint Green. Seafoam Green. When my Uncle Steve passed away, he came up to Canada to attend the funeral. He was running late after crossing the border and he didn't know where the cemetery was. It's easy to find, but I even I get lost when I think of going there. The RCMP pulled him over as he was rushing trying to get there on time. If you knew my Uncle Morrie...

Instead of the ticket, the RCMP Member became extremely apologetic for pulling him over. He insisted on escorting my uncle and his wife right to the funeral. My Uncle arrived in no time flat under police escort. My Father was always pleased with this Officer's actions. The story starts out with an unhappy situation, but it ended with great respect. A gesture that might be taken for granted by many people, but it was very much appreciated.

A job well done by the RCMP. Thank You.
