Hi Lori,

I likely do not want a phone call.  It's too taxing on resources and it is too psychologically damaging for me.  There are benefits to each of course, but with my health, my history, and everything else there are legitimate reasons why I wish to communicate via text.  It is not just solely for ease of record keeping or anything like that.  I remembered the other day that I used to stutter really bad when I was young.  Maybe it wasn't really bad, but it was really bad for me.  When you are young and you stutter, the effects of that are terrible on your psyche.   That brought me back to what I believed to be the cause of it at the time. Which parallels my personal observation for "medically" requiring communications in text (for a lack of another way to say it).

For me with my psychological health, peace of mind, and mental stability it is just much better through text.  Facebook has really polished off the leanings towards this medium, but the habit has well developed long before-hand.  I have spent a great deal of my life online.  That too.  The reason for that too.  It all goes back to the same root.  Anyways, come Thursday I felt like I was going to finally put my mind in full to this coming week. As it goes for me just a little bump here, and a little bump there, and I am tripped into a cycle where I am not sleeping.  This is only amplified by the fact that I just ran out of resources.  As murphy's law goes, I will lose mental stability right before Tuesday, which seems to the norm for set court dates.  Any set dates at all.  I personally avoid them.

My mind is flashing back a judge who said it doesn't sound like you will ever be ready.  Nope.  Not when you destroy my livelihood and everything else that maintains my stability.  I don't know what your plans are, but it all reality, the whole chain reaction of events since September 6th.. you know what?   It's probably a good thing I had decided to CC another email at the last minute this morning.  If I did not do that, I might not have your email just now.  It's funny, I told myself that you would use this hotmail address.  I told myself, you watch, she will email this one and not the others.  I told myself that out of suspect, but I should cut you a break.  You likely responded to this one because it was the easiest one.  It was the last one.  Right?  Other-wise my suspect is a compliment towards your more devious skills.

I type a lot as you can see.  I am not short with letters.  I apologise in advance if I wear you out this way.   I do need to tighten it up.  Anyways, it's a good thing I caught your email here.  If I did not hear from you and I had managed to get myself together enough to keep on task, my thinking pattern I had noticed was not changing.  Not at this point, not with this much damage.  At the moment my biggest problem is a lack of sleep.  Which is a complicated cycle. Working actually helps smooth that out.  I am a person who needs to work, but that's another dynamic. I am not going to explain myself to you, but on September 6th, that action by the Port Moody Police was not wise.  Not at all.  That was extremely damaging more than you would ever realise.  You need to realise I was done with this stuff a long-time ago.

I have to be very careful with how I pull up from situations, if the right things are not in order - I only incur even more internal damage.  I don't care what people think.  I have had a very strong work ethic in my life.  I was convinced to take an office job once.  I had to be convinced.  I would go to work, I'd be the first one there, I had to be told to go home and enjoy myself... anyways, in the mornings..  I would look to my hands and they would be shaking out of control.  Do you know why?  Because they expected to work.  My whole body expected to be working at maximum production.  No excuses.  I had a hard teacher who taught me well in that regard.  He was not good in some ways, but he was excellent in others.  Other people completely missed the benefits to going through hard school and coming out the other side.  I saw it as advantage, but then at the same time I likely had to.  Pain.  I have a had painful life.

I am old now.  I have a hard time understanding that.  I have always looked up all my life, I don't know where you are years wise (and I do not need to know), I just personally seem to lose track that I am not the youngest everywhere I go anymore.  Everywhere in my life, I was most often the youngest it seems.  Always the kid.  Always having to look up.  Always having to earn my dues.  Again, there is reward in that however.

Email me Monday, and we will just go from there.

The preferred address I don't know?  <<<   dan@berladyn.online   >>>, I have had issue using that one with you already.  That is the best one to stay out of the busy inbox full of junk I am always deleting, but at times gmail is the better option.   I just do not trust them anymore as I have already explained.  Microsoft is even worse in my books because of the damages I continually went through while not being able to pay for software 'subscriptions' over the last few years.  You wouldn't believe how murphy's law applies to my life.  If it can happen it will.  That is my own fault however.  I told myself to never buy a subscription with that corporation.  I think we all tell ourselves not to do stuff like that.  If everything is provided for us and it's someone else's problem, then that's great to most people.  I myself have not typically lost care just because it was someone else's payment, but my point is that many people do.

Anyways, way too much typing / reading.  Way too much information spilling to.. someone who hasn't shown any cards yet, but then.. you are either going to do right, or you are going to do wrong.  That part is out of my control.

Dan

PS.  Dan is fine, it is preferred.  There's a story behind that too.  It much like the stutter story.  I thank you for asking because I followed your correction in remembering proper addressment.  At least I have tried to.  I wasn't sure if it is Ms.  or  Mrs., and I haven't had the energy to look any further, so perhaps can answer the same for me.   Ms., Mrs., or Lori.  ?

Hi Mr. Berladyn,

Would you prefer I call you Dan? Please let me know your preference. Thank you for your email and for your patience during the holiday season in awaiting a response. I will have some time on Monday afternoon to discuss your file. Would you prefer a phone call or should I begin our discussion via email? If you would prefer a call, please tell me what time will work best for you, and I will do my best to call you then.

Have a good weekend.

Lori Ashton
