Post Title: Ministry of Communism and Criminal Protection

So they arrest me, take my belongings, take my cash and make a claim in the first court appearance that they cannot set my bail while they keep me overnight in a pre-trial center.  A big expensive operation of government employees who need to be kept busy.  The next day they 'impose' more inept conditions on my person, creating more job security for more government employees.  Then they take all day to do what a private corporation can do in twenty minutes.  That is release me.

They release me with just enough time to visit the Bail/Probation Office were I am to report as a "client" against any sensibility.  From here, I am to walk 2.2 kilometers, rain or shine, in prison sweats to pick up my belongings.  Naturally, nothing is by accident.  I am given my clothes but released "too late" to pick up my cash that I had on my person, forcing me to come back today.

In reality, they forced a 73 year old woman to spend money she did not have driving me to collect that money.  That took the whole day.  Rather than doing something productive and getting a head start towards all these non-sensible demands, they just bury people like me in bullshit.  It is a game of attrition.  It is how they kill people.  Explaining everything to my mother, about the money, she thought it was all a crock of shit.  Which it is.  There is no problem the government cannot create.  As for solving them, that is another story.  Incapable.

What they told me was that all cash gets converted into jail money, where you can sit in jail and order goods from the government.  Why would I want to buy something in jail?  It may keep the petty criminals happy, but I am not there to spend money.  I want what is mine on release.  Anyways this explains the pocket change that went missing last year.  So what do they do with uncollected money?  It is not like they tell you that they have your money, you have to ask for it.  To me, this is Criminal.  That pocket change they kept last year could easily have been the difference between life and death.  Many times last year being a dollar short was just that, the difference between life and death.

Imagine that, being released without a penny in your pocket, no place to go, no ability to work your sole livelihood as an Artisan, no choice but to watch your life disintegrate right into your death, while you try and try, right on the edge.  In that scenario they even keep your pocket change preventing you from buying a phone call or the sanity of a cup of coffee.
