Since People do read here, since there's been much more activity with Visitors since I was Arrested, Jailed and Released. Not that I am going to lay blame anywhere on any Organization or the Courts for that at this moment, nor anything I could have managed to do to avoid such, I just want place an update.
I had a considerable amount of rest in the jail, locked up for a month, there's literally nothing to do but eat your meals, sleep, try not to let anyone infect you and either watch TV, read, write, exercise, play with sports balls in an outdoors confinement area. Those kinds of things. I chose to read, write, and observe.
A few days before Court, I began to have intermittent sleep. Once released... - I might fill this in later - ... once released, from that morning I woke up until last night I was awake for 61.5 hours. I only had two semi-awake 10 minute naps sitting in a chair at the Royal Columbian Hospital while I waited.
Last night, I had a friend check me into a Motel. So here I am resting up and orientating. I didn't really want to this, the motel thing, as it is very expensive, but from all the missed opportunities I needed to be parked somewhere. It's too bad, for less than half the cost of a week here, we could have parked me in an empty quiet basement suite till the end of the month. I had the deal negotiated, but lost the deal on having to go outside and talk to my good friend.
Anyways, long story short, 61.5 hours of no sleep, I fell asleep waking up 11 hours later feeling surprisingly Ok. I am still tired tired, it'll take a few days to recharge. My feet have blisters and were bleeding from walking so far, so many times. Not only that, I have now taxed a great friend. It's his insistence and his offer. I just wish the money was spent more efficiently. If the money went to something more permanent, more workable longer term I'd be happier.
On the upside, I have a kitchenette, a spare bed and it's comfortable.
