Port Moody Police Department places Officer Jenn OHASHI into the position of Mental Health Liaison Officer.

PMPD Officer Jenn OHASHI was one of the only Officers I could not identify with, nor connect with.  The first time I had met her left me with a burning impression of her eyes as she stared at me intently. I flagged that in my mind. I was never able to process what that was about. I found her intent look at me to be very odd.

A New Hire

Some time later, I would come to conclude PMPD Officer Jenn OHASHI was a new hire. A new hire placed into the position of Mental Health Liaison Officer so that she could take the fall for the Department and it's coming "mistake".  Later, upon quick research, I would learn that she was an Officer of only three years service.

For myself, I have to question why the Port Moody Police Department would place a rookie into a situation they did not know how to handle. They had had perfectly acceptable Officers for the position of Mental Health Liaison Officer.

Officers such as PMPD P097 MORRISON, Ian.  Or perhaps the smooth talking, well experience former Officer of the New Westminster Police Department.  The one who took me to the Royal Columbian Hospital on my first trip into involuntary incarceration. We do this all the time he had told me.

I just find it strange that I was told the Department undertook weekly workshop meetings for events happening in the Community.  I was also told that they did not know what to do with this situation. This is affirmed several times for me. They did not know what to do with a situation of a Life Long Resident who ensured his parents stayed in the house that was otherwise to be lost.

So they put a Rookie on it.  It's just odd to me. 

Afterall, it was PMPD PO70, Officer MORISSON who stated to me "You may have saved your mother's life, but now you have become the problem, and we do not want to deal with problem people" - November 17th, 2015.

A Life Long Resident of Port Moody has a problem and the Port Moody Police do not want to deal with it. Do you know, it was a Member of E-Comm that instructed me to go to the Police Department for help with my Family problems. A E-Comm Member.

E-Comm is who you are phoning when you dial 9-1-1.

This is not any E-Comm Member either, position wise.  This is also a neighbour and someone I considered a friend.  Someone, who I would help around his house. In fact, when he bought his house, I shovelled the driveway for the Senior who he had bought it from in order for the moving vans to park in the driveway.
