Post Title: RTB Eviction Notice

During mid-October, I witnessed my mother get into my oldest brother Jim's truck.  He was parked along side me in the driveway.   She is elderly and she was giggling like a small child going along for a ride.  I assumed she was going on her annual (free?) vacation.

This is a yearly trip, something in which I have been last to know about for years on end even though I am the one that both lives with her and I am the one who helped her keep the house.  I check the door cutting off the basement from the upstairs to see if she's on vacation and I note I am locked out of the rest of the house by the door and walls I have paid for.

By the end of October, I get a text message from my younger sister Lisa stating that my three siblings are all coming over for Trick-or-Treating.  Once again, it looks like I won't be buying candy for the neighbourhood kids.  My intuition tells me something is up because the text is abnormal behaviour.  I follow through with my instincts and tell my little sister that she is never to contact me again.

October 31st, I head out to avoid my siblings.  Upon my return I note an Eviction Notice posted by my siblings to a door I have both paid for and installed.  Paid for and installed into a house that my mother admitted in Counseling that she would have lost without me.  A house that my brothers both enjoyed laughing at her for imminently losing in the years prior.  Clearly, this is one dysfunctional family.

Eviction notice

Looking at the date, I find my answer to the giggling I noted in mid-October.  They had planned and timed this to hit a mere two days before my 40th Birthday.  I wonder if people couldn't act any lower than this.  This was timed for maximum personal effect.

I remember my mother's 40th Birthday, how she cried hitting that number and all the things she had been given in life by that age.  More than any of my friend's mothers growing up.  I look at my life, the only thing I have had is tremendous suffering, nothing compared to hers.  Furthermore I worked very hard while she did not.

Just prior to this Notice of Eviction, I was re-financing loans. My own bank clearly stated with amazement that I had been through a lot over the last two months.   The effects of earlier damage granted to my life by my siblings.  On top of this, I had just committed with a new employer a week prior.

Luckily for me I had visited with the Port Moody Police Department's Victim Services just a month earlier.  As my stress level flies out of control I start emailing them very long emails, trying to decompress all the information held within me.  I know one thing, they are legally bound to lend me an ear.  I think it was something like fourteen lengthy emails over the first eleven days.  The emails are nonsensical in some ways, but after all I am attempting at parking 40 years of data there as I debrief.

From November 1st, to November 21st my stress level is so high that I can hardly function.  The people I work with are concerned that I am going to drop dead from stress.  I beg of them not to speak to me as each tid bit of new information begins yet another thread of processing to my mind which is running so fast I myself believe I nearly dropped dead five times.  My own doctor refused to see me despite choosing my words very carefully at his front desk, alarming his staff.

The Police even showed concern as they would send cars to the house to check on my status.  For me, it was embarrassing because I don't like to waste City resources. This is completely understandable on the PMPD's behalf because they do not know who or what they are dealing with.  I met some very good Officers.   The Department has very good people.  I thank you all and I mean that.

Finally into see my General Practitioner, Doctor#2, he admits things I don't like to hear.  Unfortunately for me, by the time I had seen him I lost the momentum of the many things and the mannerism I had wanted to state.  None the less I walk out with a prescription so at least I can knock myself out and sleep if the stress runs too high again.
