With no appointment and with no history I dropped in just the way I like to - anonymously.  A fresh, modern, clean lobby leaves you feeling optimistic.  I glanced around, working my way into the Cafeteria.  There, I found somewhat what I expected as far as seeing one person softly counselling another.

Heading over to the reception was pleasant friendly staff with no delay in providing assistance.  I let them know I wanted to speak to someone, preferably a Psychiatric Nurse.  At the moment, understandably no one was available and I had to return an hour later - thankfully only giving my first name.

In returning I met someone, following them in behind secured access doors which...  from my experiences elevated some emotions.  I was assured they were one-way access, I asked.  Restricted Entry, Unrestricted Exit.  In an Office, we spoke privately.

I gave a loose, condensed history, quickly explaining my four involuntary hospital trips.  I explained that there were matters before the Courts.  While explaining that I did not want to offend, I bluntly offered my opinion that the Mental Health Industry is rampant with Fraud.  The whole thing is Corrupt.

With a confident smile, she agreed with me, stating it is.  I went on to explain that I had some ideas on how to correct much of that.  She immediately wanted me to submit them to her.  I am not that trusting and I do not see that ending up too fruitful.  I explained to her that I would rather submit them directly to the Provincial Government.

I spoke to her about to being taken into the hospital right next door in February.  I explained to her the two people I wouldn't mind speaking with.  Seeing that I did not have my Medical Records handy, I wondered if she couldn't get me their names privately.

I explained that the Courts ordered a Psychiatric Evaluation.  I then further explained that I did not trust any of this.  One of the things I wanted to explore here was obtaining a Psychiatric Evaluation independently.  This was immediately shot down as she gave her advisement that the Courts would only accept their own Doctors.

The Courts obviously do not trust either then... do they?

At the end, she tried to help me as much as she could.  She tried to get me the names of the Doctors, but this is a matter for the Records Department of the Hospital.  Not worth any of our times.  At least not at this moment.

This consumed several hours of my time.  My point in sharing this is that my opinion is far from one that is not alone.  Psychiatry is full of FRAUD.
