Written prior to dropping into the Probation Office.
Well, I am here. An hour ago I was pretty clear in my own mind on what I needed to communicate to you. Let’s see how I do in person.
- One of the things I wanted to communicate was my residential/working needs and how they both go hand in hand. If you're offering potential services, you are an open variable that affects my planning and my committing to other parties. I already do not trust a system intent on burying me just for the sake of keeping paperwork and systems intact regardless of truth. You stated that you would phone and you were motivated to help and follow through the last I had seen you. What happened since I left that Office I do not know. This is why I am returning. I had two residences lined up. At first, I was noncommittal, one contributing factor was your potential offer. The first residence wanted me so much that they kept pursuing me continuing to try to contact me. This after I asked them for space. I explained that I had too much going on and that I would call them maybe on Sunday. They kept emailing me like crazy spinsters - which is what they were. By the time I saw these potential landlords again I had just personally committed to cancelling the second place. Immediately after doing so, the first place cancelled on me. This likely fed into me needing to open up about all my problems while finalizing the job I was quoting. A job I should have hands down and one I had been literally expecting to have. Now it maybe it is lost. It doesn’t matter what I do in regards to telling them or not telling them. I could either keep my problems to myself, be optimistic and risking, or I could explain being honest and upfront. Both decisions are right, but now unless luck changes (which it may), I am totally in a cluster@#$& of a situation. Let’s see how a cold call goes with you. Today was the day I was scheduled to meet you anyways.
