On January 14th, 2016 at approximately 1558 hours, Cst OHASHI was made aware that Daniel BERLADYN had called the Port Moody Police Department to request assistance on checking on [blank], as Daniel BERLADYN stated he was posting items to Facebook that [blank] might interpret as upsetting. Cst OHASHI and Cst VANWINKLE attended the BERLADYN's residence located at [blank], and spoke to Daniel BERLADYN who wanted to ensure that [blank] knew that mental health resources were available to [blank] if needed. [blank] was determined not to be home at this time.
Earlier on the same date, Cst OHASHI had been in contact with the Tri-Cities Mental Health team who confirmed that two (2) nurses had visited Daniel BERLADYN recently and are currently working on engaging him in mental health treatment with the ultimate goal of connecting him with a psychiatrist. Tri-Cities Mental Health confirmed they would be following up with Daniel BERLADYN on January 18th, 2016, and would update Cst OHASHI with the care plan moving forward.
On January 14th, 2016 at approximately 1710 hours, Cst OHASHI phoned [blank], who stated [blank 2 lines]. [blank] spoke to Cst OHASHI [blank] and confirmed that [blank] was attempting to evict Daniel BERLADYN from the residence and that an arbitration hearing was scheduled for tomorrow (January 15th, 2016) with the Landlord Tenancy Branch. Mental Health Liaison to continue to monitor Daniel BERLADYN and liaise with the Tri-Cities Mental Health Team regarding a treatment plan.
